CV and resumé
Europass is not used in Denmark (considered to be too formal)
Use danish template preferably
Don´t talk about your language skills using system of levels (A1, A2, B1...) but describe them using few words/sentences
Don´t make your CV too long- ideally just 1 page
Add your picture and contact information for your employer to easier contact you
It is valued if you write a couple of sentences which sum up you as a person and your attitude towards work
Trial shifts
In Denmark it is very common that employers will ask you to come to trial days before signing the contract. Usually these trial days are 2 or 3 days but it depends on the specific job. These days you get trained for your job position, you have to learn working techniques and everything that is going to be your duties.
It is very important that you listen carefully, show your interest in job and try to do as good as possible.
Interview
Often, after the CV is reviewed, the employer decides to call some of the candidates for an interview. In the eastern European countries it is common to dress up very formally, talk in a very sophisticated way etc. In Denmark you don't have to focus on these things as much especially when it comes to student job interviews. Casual clothing is more than fine and natural, clear and honest speech is the most valued one.
However, it is important that you come prepared in terms of doing your research regarding the company and your position and boosting your confidence so you make a good impression.
